Sleek aluminium doors

Using the same profiles as our folding sliding door system, Cortizo aluminium doors are slimmer and more appealing than conventional hinged doors.

For large or small openings

With door panel sizes up to 1.2m wide and 3.0m high, Cortizo aluminium doors create bigger door openings, modern extensions demand.

Superior Thermal Insulation

Thermally insulated profiles and high-specification double or triple glass ensure Cortizo aluminium doors meet current Building Regulations and lower heating bills.

Less frame, more glass with Cortizo Doors

Cortizo aluminium doors are cleverly designed around one of the most popular bifold door brands on the market, with the same thin profile dimensions, quality hardware and excellent specifications. They’re ideal as a replacement for older side doors even coming with an optional midrail section. Or create beautiful French door sets with or without side and top panels, for distinctive patio doors.

For homeowners, Cortizo aluminium residential doors come ready for your builder or chosen installer to install with ease. We provide everything you need for a swift and easy installation. Supply only residential doors are available in five working days on standard colours and with free delivery up to 30 miles.

Builders and property professionals benefit from a distinctive single or double door product, providing more features and improved styling over traditionally styled doors. Even better are the more flexible door sizes compared to composite doors and the benefit of larger door openings when projects demand doors with more glass and less visible profile.

Also available with our aluminium residential doors is the choice of a modern flatline or a more traditional curved door sash profile, making these doors suitable for both modern or more traditional property.

Alulock is at the heart of our door security. Dependable doors with six locking points, a star-rated key cylinder and a pleasing curved backplate design that even helps rainwater fall away from the lock.

Why are aluminium doors better?
Compared to PVCu, composite or even timber doors, aluminium doors are slimmer, stronger and come in a huge range of colours. Another significant advantage of aluminium doors is their sizes go wider and taller than other materials. This means you can have full-size doors where PVCu needs side or top panels for larger structural openings. And aluminium doors go narrower too.
How do I choose an aluminium door?
Look for thermally insulated aluminium, safety glass with low U-Values, and a wide choice of colours. For the door handles and hinges, a good aluminium door should offer you a choice of styles and colours. A well-designed aluminium door comes with stylish side or top panels if needed and the choice of a standard, low or even disabled access threshold.
Are aluminium doors secure?
Quality-made doors come with a range of locks, designed to secure the door at several locking points, also called a multipoint lock. This should then be secured with a key cylinder designed to withstand drilling, picking or snapping. Other security features include glass or panels being secured from the inside meaning they can’t be removed from the outside. Look for independent security testing such as PAS 24 or other similar security certifications.
How much do aluminium doors cost?
There are many factors affecting the price you pay for aluminium doors, but a quality product needn’t be expensive. The overall sizes, colour, handle styles, glass type and how you wish to customise your new aluminium door, all affect the price. Get in touch for a fast quote.
