Is aluminium door frame a good choice for my door?
Choosing the correct doors for your house or business is a very crucial, and important decision to make. Whether it’s front doors, patio doors, or internal doors, an informed decision is always the best decision. We do believe our Aluminium Doors are a superior choice, and here are our reasons why.
Why is Aluminium Door Frame good to use?
There are numerous advantages of using Aluminium Door Frame.
Aluminium is generally considered the most sustainable material for building, while also being fully recyclable. On top of that, you can also re-use the material later, if you decide you do not need your aluminium doors anymore. We cannot see why that would be happening, but if it happens, you have many choices of what to do with it.
Aluminium door frames are very sturdy, durable and safe. If you opt out for bifolding door, we use A-rated double and triple glazed glass. When it comes to building, it is also considered a very strong material to work with. We do believe in our doors, as they are durable and a great investment in the long run, but we also give 10 years guarantee, back by CERTASS.
Just when you think aluminium door frames cannot get any better, they are also highly resistant to humidity and moisture, which is beyond useful living in England, especially South Coast. Another great addition is internal blinds, which will help you save on your energy bills straight away. If you’d like to know more about internal blinds, check out our blog here and here.
Does Aluminium Door Frame need a lot of maintenance?
One of the best features of our Aluminium Door Frame is that it is extremely low-maintenance. Cleaning is very easy and takes minimum time. To make sure it looks like new for the longest time possible, we recommend light cleaning of key areas. Is there any limit on width and height?
We do not have any limits on how many leaves you can have for your Bifolds. Width is not an issue at all. Some people opt out for 3-leaf Bifolds, some go as far as 9-leaf Bifold. When it comes to height though, the maximum we do is 3 metres.
To sum it up: The Width is up to you. The height is 3 metres.
Can I choose my own colour?
When ordering your Aluminium Door, we always ask which RAL colour would you like for the frame. The most popular choices are white and grey, but you can order whichever colour suits you and your house.
Did you know: RAL is an European colour matching system developped in 1925. It started with just 40 colours, while nowadays the RAL Classic consists of over 200 colours
Is Aluminium Door Frame a good investment?
Yes. For all of the above reasons, an aluminium door frame is a superb choice. Compared to uPVC its price is a bit higher, but so are its quality, durability, and overall aesthetics. You really do get what you pay for, and you get it for years to come.
